Senior Sales Director Opportunity

Oculis Labs is a venture-backed data privacy software company based in Hunt Valley, just north of Baltimore, Maryland.  Oculis Labs builds cutting edge software that is used by the U.S. Government and Fortune 1000, and consumers around the world to keep spies, competitors, and other eavesdroppers from reading information on protected computers.

Oculis Labs is seeking a global sales leader to expand and leverage our growing channel network, with at least 7 years of experience landing and managing key accounts and developing new business for high tech companies including startups.  Successful candidates will be talented communicators and negotiators, with a successful record of building strategic partnerships and winning large deals with enterprise or government customers.   Experience consistently delivering multi-million dollar profitability through effective sales efforts and team leadership, innovative sales solutions, and targeted marketing programs a must.  Successful management of small and large teams as well as international experience a plus.  If you’re a senior or strategic account manager, looking to challenge your skills and enjoy startup reward opportunities, we would love to hear from you….

Responsibilities

The Senior Sales Director position is responsible for leading Oculis Labs’ sales efforts of its main products, PrivateEye and Chameleon.  Primary responsibilities include:

  1. Drive large, brand recognizable, customers through the pipeline to successful completion
  2. Develop and leverage channel sales and strategic partnerships into profitable business
  3. Work directly with senior management and marketing personnel to target customer and partner needs
  4. Build relationships with companies to establish marketshare in vertical markets including banks, brokerage, governments, and professional services
  5. Be a leader and own the sales strategy, pipeline, and execution

Qualifications and Experience

  • 7+ years of senior sales and account management experience
  • 5+ years of previous experience  selling into financial services customers or governments
  • Demonstrated ability to work with channel and strategic partners to generate business
  • Comfortable in a collaborative start-up environment
  • Passionately analytical and innovative to pick up and sell new concepts, cultures, industries, products, and customer benefits very quickly
  • Ability to work on multiple accounts simultaneously
  • Bachelors Degree preferred
  • Previous experience in security software company and international sales a plus
  • U.S. Citizenship required
